Silk Road Teas Lot No. 48 Earl Grey Organic Black Tea

Since 1991, Silk Road Teas has traveled through China’s provinces, visiting small farms, out-of-the-way markets and specialty tea makers in search of distinctive teas. Lot No. 48 brings that spirit of discovery to Earl Grey: full-bodied organic black tea lifted by the fragrant citrus oil of bergamot, with a rich bouquet and lingering finish. The leaves are minimally milled and packed in biodegradable, non-GMO corn-silk sachets; each can be steeped more than once. Each box is hand-packed by an adult with disabilities, and tea sales benefit Ceres Community Project, which teaches teens to cook with whole foods and supports people facing serious illness.
