In Anxi, in the southern Fujian hills, Tieguanyin’s broad leaves are rolled and carefully worked to bring out their natural fragrance. Silk Road Teas describes this lot as a “Monkey Picked” grade, with moss-green leaves and an orchid-like aroma. In the cup, expect a sweet floral flavor, a buttery feel, and a finish that lingers.
