Bergamot and snow pear lead the aroma, with ripe fruit, honeyed sweetness, and a soft floral note behind them. The liquor is full-bodied and silky, with a clean, cooling finish. Across repeated infusions, the citrus-like fragrance gives way to deeper fruit and a lingering sweetness.

This compressed oolong was harvested in spring 2013 in Yongchun County, Fujian, from the Foshou cultivar, named for its resemblance to Buddha’s Hand citron. Yongchun’s Foshou teas are part of Fujian’s Minnan oolong tradition, prized for their expressive fragrance.

The leaves were partially oxidized, rolled, slowly roasted, and pressed into small tea squares. More than a decade of aging has softened the tea’s youthful intensity and brought its fragrance, sweetness, and texture into balance. Brew it gongfu-style to watch those layers unfold over successive infusions.

Weight: 1.06 oz (30 g)
Brewing: Gongfu style; use 5 g at 212°F (100°C). Pour the first five infusions immediately; from the sixth, steep for 5–20 seconds, lengthening to taste.
Format: Compressed tea squares
Type: Oolong
