Ti Kuan Yin means “Iron Goddess of Mercy.” Its origin is told in a well-loved legend: a devoted caretaker of a small Guanyin temple dreamed of a tea plant hidden in a cave. He found it, brought a branch home, and began growing the tea that would carry the goddess’s name.

Western Immortal’s organic Ti Kuan Yin comes from Anxi County in Fujian, China, a region closely associated with this celebrated oolong. The package lists a single ingredient: organic Ti Kuan Yin.
