Uncommon Bee Farm Rye Barrel Aged Honey

Uncommon Bees began with a few backyard hives in Houston, after its founders saw pollinators declining. Those hives grew into a homestead in deep East Texas, where the work still follows one promise: take nothing from the hive it doesn’t have to give.

This honey comes from their own hives and is aged in a rye barrel. The honey’s floral sweetness meets the barrel’s warm oak and spice - a meeting of the apiary and the whiskey cask. Try it with aged cheddar or blue cheese, brush a little over roasted squash, or stir it into a whiskey cocktail. It’s never pasteurized or frozen; stir before use.
