Bono
Founded in 1934 in Sciacca, Sicily, Bono is a family-owned producer whose roots lie in the island's olive-growing traditions. Established by Michele Bono and expanded by subsequent generations, the company has grown into one of Sicily's largest olive oil producers while maintaining its headquarters in the agricultural region of Val di Mazara.
Although best known for its extra virgin olive oils, Bono also produces traditional Sicilian citrus marmalades made from locally grown fruit. Its orange, blood orange, and lemon marmalades reflect Sicily's long history of citrus cultivation, using organic fruit and cane sugar to preserve the distinctive flavors of the island's harvest.
Bono's production combines generations of agricultural experience with modern processing and traceability standards, maintaining a close connection to the ingredients and traditions of Sicily.
